Weekend Recap

Again, what another marvelous weekend!

Hope you all had as wonderful of a weekend as me!

After work all day on Saturday (and it was a mighty long day!) V and I decided it was time for dinner + movies.

We went to a new place in town called Fancy Sushi - yum!!

Spicy tuna roll + salmon with avocado roll!

Since it's a new sushi place - I didn't get anything too crazy in case it wasn't very good. (And it was delish!) I've never had honey drizzled on my sushi like that - have you? It was a great addition!

Since it's a new place, they also brought us complimentary sushi roll + miso soup - great addition!

Before we went to see "Planet of the Apes" - we grabbed a coffee at Books a Million. Speaking of the movie - it made me so sad. I know the animals weren't real - but I can't watch movies like that...makes me too upset! I hate seeing animals in distress and hurt.

Sunday, we figured it would be too hot out for the beach (sad! I need a tan!) so we decided to go to the mall and shop around a little. All I wound up getting was 5 hand sanitizers from Bath & Body Works and some protein powder. Boring me - I know!

We also stopped a some party city place that had crazy sales...I wanted to go to a bead shop that was next door but they had closed down...made our way in there for some fun instead...

Then went to a bbq with some friends! Luckily it started to rain so cooled it down a bit!

And now...another week of craziness is about to ensue, I am sure!
