Who doesn't like receiving compliments? If you remember, I sure do. Receiving a compliment is one of my favorite things. That makes me sound incredibly full of myself...but it seriously is a complete mood-changer. It also makes you realize + remember how powerful words are.
Last week one of the members told me that I looked like Julia Roberts. For the next 2 days, my confidence was sky high.
One day last week I wore my hair up (which I don't normally do) and I got quite a few compliments about it - made me so happy!
Saturday, I complimented a cutie pie that I see every day at work. He's not more than 18 years old. I told him I liked his hair - he had been growing it out. His face lit up and said he was thinking about cutting it - but since I complimented him, he started second guessing it. Well, I saw him today and his hair is still long. ;)
I try to compliment as many people as I can during the day. Why not?
Today, I dare you to do just the same. Compliment your little heart out.
You don't know what that person might be going through - a little confidence booster might be just what they need to hear!
The smile on their face will be sure to cause a smile on yours!
And to start - I think you are wonderful for reading my thoughts :)
I love how positive you are and this is a great idea. Why not lift someone up? :) Guess who my inspiration is for the day?!
ReplyDeleteThey really do make a huge difference. When hubs comments on my smaller booty, makes me want to go to the gym more;)

You know, I acutally love complimenting strangers. Like you said, you don't know what they're going through and they could need a little boost of encouragement!
ReplyDeleteSo very true! You never know what someone is going through and how what you say could potentially make their day. :) I'll try to work on that dare!
